E-Business Club club: free digital training events
The well-regarded E-Business Club are back with a collection of free breakfast and one-day workshops to train business owners in all things web and digital. The training is great, the room is always packed, and it’s a great way of refreshing or growing your skills (plus a chance to meet potential clients if you’re a creative service business). There are a few events coming up in Notts if you book quickly (it always sells out so do get in there quick):
Google Analytics & Successful Conversion – 27 November 2009 DNCC Offices, Nottingham
Advanced Search Engine Optimisation – 02 December 2009 Newark Beacon
Planning an Email Marketing Campaign – 10 December 2009 Ashfield School
Successful Search Engine Optimisation – 16 December 2009 DNCC Offices, Nottingham

Connected Nottingham Digital Inclusion Seminar, December 2nd 1-4pm
Nottingham has been a pilot city for ‘digital inclusion’ – that basically means getting more people online and doing stuff with it (like blogging…or Ebaying even). This event talks about the findings of the initial research.
Nottingham Craft Mafia: Jo Williams Work Space
Nottingham Craft Mafia seemed to be an interesting collective of crafty types who are as prolific in their blogging as they are in their knitting, sewing and the like, so we like them lots. Here’s some pics of Jo Williams work space, which looks far more shi-shi and zen than mine.
