Jumpers for goalposts: Jumpers For Goalposts – Nottingham’s finest ‘felt-tips n folk night’
Hello Thor, a local indie label, have been putting on nights fusing crafts with folk music. Jumpers for Goalposts is held at the intimate and friendly Alley Café every third Thursday and what’s more it’s free!  Left Lion review one evening featuring The Barnacles who, by all accounts, sound bonkers.

Congrats and champagne are in order, as Marcus Clarke from Hands Up Puppets this week won the Best Children’s Programme Award for his kids show “Bookaboo” at the prestigious Broadcast Awards.

And finally…fancy an evening tipple?

Those cool guys and gals at Cast theatre bar (part of Playhouse) have their own YouTube channel featuring the art of their cocktail shaking. Tom Cruise eat your heart out.  These seems to be a few interesting Nottingham folks doing interesting stuff on YouTube, if you’re doing the video star thing add your site to the comments for this post and I’ll put together a feature on Notts videomakers.
