Artists, it's your call(ing)

Blood, sweat, tears and….vinyl.  Whatever it takes to make your art, there’s a call for your talents.

Absolutely anything goes as long as it’s on vinyl with the Exit Through the Record Shop exhibition in Nottingham. Create your art with vinyl as your canvas and then use pretty much anything as your medium (they said so and they meant it, including sweat and blood on the list of ideas).  Pick up free records on which to create your artwork from Oh my Gosh Records. You can enter as many times as you want. The earlier entries get the better spaces on the wall. The date for this one off exhibition will be announced later on. Drop your entries off at Oh My Gosh. Email info@smallkid.co.uk for details.

Collage or assemblage more your thing?  Embrace Arts at the University of Leicester art centre are having an urgent final call for regional artists working in this medium to take part in an exhibition.  If you’re interested, please send images and a CV to Stella Couloutbanis at Embrace Arts: sc352@le.ac.uk.

Many other creative types are in demand for the Trampoline Platform Event, Territorial Play, due to take place mid May as part of the Radiator Festival’s Tracing Mobility programme. Territorial Play aims to explore current trends towards a ‘mobilised city’ through the talents of artists, performers, visualists, filmmakers, designers, game-players, writers and others.

Finally, Danse Macabre is looking for a small number of artists and designer makers to join them as stallholders in their Curiosity Fair on 2 May.
