Nottingham Trent Graduate Shows. Come and see the latest in fine art, fashion design and photography.

As a soon-to-be graduate, this point in my life is both exiting and nerve racking; a feeling shared by many students on the brink of finishing what seems like an eternity of studying and education.  Now is the time for celebration, of both our own achievements and those of our peers. This summer, young, talented designers, photographers and artists will be showcasing their work around the city centre. They will be putting on innovative and inspiring exhibitions, representing the newest batch of creatives from Nottingham. As the summer approaches the city campus becomes a hive of creativity that is welcoming and open for all, offering something for everyone.

RAW is the 14th annual photography festival put on by Nottingham Trent students at Nash Interiors and Backlit between the 24th of May and 4th June. Undergraduates will be showcasing original, cutting edge photography displays covering a diverse range of complex issues from identity to the city. Whether you are a photography fanatic or fancy a free trip out and complementary booze RAW deserves a visit.

20TEN offers a student-produced, live catwalk experience and exhibitions of product projects. Fashion and Knitwear design students will be presenting garment collections on the 20th and 21st May at 5pm and 8pm; an opportunity to view the work of the next Paul Smith perhaps? Tickets are available from the Nottingham Trent Website.

Art & Design

From the 5th June to the 7th June creative student designers will be displaying  work from a range of disciplines including fine art, film and architecture across the city campus. Admission is free and these events offer  a great opportunity to support the creativity that is cultivated and shaped in central Nottingham before taking the exhibitions to London.  Find out more about June 2010 degree shows.
