A day in the life of New York City, in miniature. Shot as over 35,000 stills in Manhattan and Brooklyn using a “tilt-shift” style, this film watches the pulses and rhythms of the city and its inhabitants from a different perspective. Serendipitous moments of people’s collective everyday experience form a model-like transformation of NYC life. Your Ticket to Victory @ Antenna 18th June- 23rd June

Antenna is offering a creative way to watch the world cup. On the 18th June, 5pm till late, Antenna will be hosting the England v Algeria game for anyone working within the creative industries.

On Wednesday 23rd June, Antenna is opening up further to all businesses in Nottingham for the England v Slovenia Match. Businesses can come along, treat staff and clients and support England in style. ¬†Entry is only ¬£10 per head for food and your first drink and will allow you to watch the game undisturbed in high definition with guaranteed seats, fantastic food and table service so you won’t miss a moment! James Webb describes himself as a media artist

Exploring the Interplay of all Media in our Multi-Hybridized World

His first public presentation in 2002 incorporated 36 prayers representing a broad cross section of Cape Town’s faiths. Webb has now released his latest version of the piece comprising a range or prayers recorded from a diverse spectrum of Nottinghams religious faiths. This multi-channel sound installation fuses melody and language and looks to be a very interesting piece of audio installation. Sound it Out by Jeanie Finlay

Sound it Out is Nottingham film maker, Jeanie Finlay’s, first fully independent, self shot film. The film is a documentary portrait of the very last surviving vinyl record shop in Teesside looking at the role music plays in our lives. Sound it Out promises to be distinctive and funny and to help support local talent part of the budget is being raised using collaborative funding website INDIEGOGO.
