‘The creative sector in Nottingham is being given a boost with the launch of Amplify, a new programme of free support for creative entrepreneurs and businesses, worth up to £5,000. The programme is aiming to seek out and support the next generation of Paul Smith’s, Shane Meadows’ and Speedo’s.
In a city that is now, literally, bursting with creative talent, the only difficulty will be in performing the selection process.
The programme is being launched by Nottingham-based Antenna, an organisation that’s at the heart of the city’s creative industries.
Antenna has already helped many creative companies, including for example, the creative company behind well known films and TV programmes like This is England 86.
Support could include help with finding financial investment and backing, one to one mentoring and advice from experienced industry figures and bespoke training – plus access to Antenna’s range of creative resources including a state-of-the-art recording studio, hi-tech meeting rooms and an award-winning restaurant and bar.’
This is fantastic news for entrepreneurs seeking specialist support to nurture their business, or help get their creative ideas off the ground.
