Vintage Fair this Sunday

vintagefair

The Vintage Fair is returning to Nottingham this Sunday 10th of April 12-5 p.m, to a brand new beautiful venue – The Belgrave on Goldsmith Street. With it’s gorgeous Victorian period features the Belgrave promises to be the perfect back drop to the to a vintage-fair-fest (I may have made that term up), for a measly £1 entry.
Bringing 40 stalls from every corner of the UK – including local Midlands traders – you’ll be able to choose from rail upon rail of timeless pieces of vintage clothing ranging from 1940’s to 1980’s fashion to quirky reworked clothing, handmade jewellery and lots of other vintage inspired treats. Truly, it’ll be the only place for your vintage fix this April.
Along with all of the vintage clothing and other treats, the Vintage Fair brings the ‘The Vintage Tea Party’ travelling tea room, the perfect way to relax after your busy day of shopping. Offering the best in traditional cakes, from Victoria sponges to charming cupcakes in an array of scrumptious flavours all accompanied by a nice cup of tea served in gorgeous delicate china. The lovely ladies at The Vintage Hair Salon will also be along for the day to transform you into a vintage star, offering hair, nails and make up to transform you into your favourite Hollywood glamourpuss or rock’n’roll pin-up. With a range of treatments and taster options available for the wary newcomer, there promises to be something for every vintage fan. The ladies get very busy at the salon – email to make an appointment for your vintage transformation to avoid disappointment.
The Vintage Fair itself originally hails from Sheffield, bringing the best handpicked selection of 1940’s-1980’s clothing, home ware, jewellery and accessories together in a one day celebration of all things vintage. Since its creation in 2008, The Vintage Fair now visits upwards of 15 cities making it the fastest growing event of its kind. 2011 holds many exciting prospects for The Vintage Fair, with plans for 10 new cities and a summer of festivals on the cards too… So, make sure to get in early this Sunday for some great vintage action!
