September is upon us!
If you are back to work after a summer break like me (those with children or an education focus may be breathing a sigh of relief after completing the first week of the new term) then you may be adjusting back to the old routine.
I found my inbox full of interesting events and opportunities and was a little overwhelmed. It seems that just like the old adage on buses, cultural events are all coming at once!
Only a short bus ride out of the city to Beeston/Chilwell you will find Bartons plc what used to be a bus depot is rapidly becoming a cultural hub. As its only a short walk from where I live, in the last few months I have been there and enjoyed comedy, acoustic nights, visited the monthly market and today to see an array of vintage buses! In October there’ll be contemporary art but my dilemma this week is a diary clash! Would love to be at Bartons first drive in movie which is the beginning of their “NOT the Cannes Film Festival” but I’m already booked to be at Antenna for the Creative Greenhouse evening with Pete Mosley. I could equally have had a night out at one of the many things going on for World Event for Young Artists.
Now where’s my diary? What’s next?
