Local fashion and accessory designers will have the chance to showcase their work at Dedicated, a brand new event to be held in the Lace Market on 2nd March.
The event, run by Curiosity Haus, sees them teaming up with Nottingham based band promoter/record label I’m Not from London, and online music resource Notts About Music, to host a number of stalls featuring some of Nottingham’s best up and coming designers, and raise money for local charity Framework.
Framework work across Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire to help homeless and vulnerable people, keeping them off the streets and giving them the resources and training they need to build a better future. All proceeds from Dedicated will go toward their efforts.
The centrepiece of the event will be a fashion show, featuring creations by local designers alongside top-end high street brands. Professional models will walk the runway alongside NTU fashion students. The designers will also have the chance to present and sell their creations to visitors. Later on in the evening, Dedicated will feature live music from Nottingham bands and DJs.
Local designers wishing to be part of Dedicated can apply online here. The event takes place at I’m Not from London’s headquarters at 8 Stoney Street, Lace Market. Stall fees are £20 (with table) or £15 (without table).
