In 2010, Creative Nottingham published the results of a postcard competition – four different designs. We put postcards with the winning entries around the city, in shops, cafes, bars, museums. (We could do this thanks to the generosity of AG Communicate, a division of AlphaGraphics.) Obviously they quickly became collector’s items.
This morning, sharp-eyed Sue, one of our regular bloggers, noticed and photographed this display in the Nottingham Central Library, Angel Row. And tweeted about it, of course (@basfordian). The postcard in the library shows the image by Yui Waraporn. Our 2010 blogpost has images of all the winners and an interview with two of the artists.
Wonder if the Library has a complete set of the postcards?
