In the April interview with Kathy McArdle, Chief Operating Officer of the Creative Quarter initiative, she said she was was currently looking for a base in the Quarter itself. Two months later, achievement unlocked:

Today the new offices were open and offering cake and tea/coffee to visitors over lunch, with both Kathy and newly appointed assistant Tasha King doing the honours. (And if you are ever offered homemade cake by Tasha, take as many pieces as you can get away with, delicious!) The downstairs rooms are newly refurbished, thanks to by one of the Confetti companies. Computers are in and connected as of two days ago, the kettle is working, but as the photo shows, a sign is awaited.
The intention is that the office be open during standard business hours Monday, Wednesday (closing a bit early), Thursday, plus other times during the week on an ad hoc basis. As well as the standard email address, info AT creativequarter.com, both Kathy and Tasha have their own: Kathy AT and Tasha AT. And yes, they have plans to develop the website creativequarter.com, and do more publicity and and and ……..
Kathy said her next specific step is to hold a meeting for existing businesses in the Creative Quarter. She will issue invitations by email, so if your business in the CQ has not already exchanged emails with Kathy, drop her a line (copy to Tasha).
