As you look up from your hectic preparations for the forthcoming holiday, take a break from current work, decide to ignore the miserable weather, you might just turn your thoughts to 2015. We have four opportunities which might help, some have charges to participate.
If you are younger than I am, you may be a contender for the Nottingham Young Creative Awards. The theme this year is “Made in Nottingham”, details on their site. This is a great programme, and concludes each year with a presentation evening – see our coverage of 2013 here and here.
The Nottingham Means Business organisation are having a Pitch Perfect workshop in February, suitable if you are an early stage, high growth company who might welcome support on your journey to investment. Details in their PDF.
Finally, the Britain Does Vintage team are putting on a festival at Kelham Hall next March. They would like some “vintage related craft workshops” to join them. There is a website, but probably better to pursue this, if you are interested, via their Facebook page.
If none of these are suitable, keep reading us, we will have plenty more as we get into 2015!
(The two images in this post were done by guests at our fourth birthday party in October 2013, but we don’t know who. If it was you, let us know in the comments, or tweet us at @creativenotts, and we’ll give you the credit you deserve!)
